  1. Looking for something to do with the kids on the East End? Here are five top family and kids' events for April 2–7. Your child can learn to Be an Artist or join a Princess Tea Party. If you kid is funny, then possibly join a Comedy Class at the Flanders Youth Center. For the baby in your life, there is Baby Playtime, oh, and of course, there is Unicorn Craft. There you have the top five events, but there are more that are presented by Dan's Papers. (Dan's Papers)
  2. A report created by BusPatrol America, the company that operates the school-bus-camera program, indicated that there were 85,608 school-bus-camera violations (failing to stop for school buses) from May - December 2021 for Suffolk alone. The eight-month violation period yielded roughly $12.1 million in revenue, Suffolk has received about $6.6 million of that, and about $77,000 went to East End municipalities that adjudicate their own violations.
