Here are the top stories today in East Hampton:

  1. 'Serving the Hamptons' set at Zach Erdem's 75 Main restaurant, will premier tonight on Discovery+. The series depicts the lives of the summer staffers that Erdem has on payroll. To spice up the series, the cast lived together in a luxurious beach house that Erdem provided. This is not surprising or unusual for Erdem to provide, as rentals are nearly impossible or too expensive to rent for staff; but surely not as nice as the one on the show. (Newsday)
  2. Ina Garten's 'Spring Cleaning Time!' On Wednesday, we got to look inside Ina Garten's new-and-improved pantry and kitchen and, boy, were we impressed! Garten celebrates spring by cleaning out old oils and baking powders and has a list of helpful tips. First, she starts by scenting the kitchen with bowls of lemon and lime, then tackles the organization of her utensils, both wood and metal. Garten also stores items in plastic containers so you know what you have before having to go shopping. Hope you enjoy your spring cleaning! (PEOPLE)
  3. Sheriff Toulon's office is collecting unused cellphones to be repurposed to help domestic violence victims, as well as social service agencies and senior citizens with limited incomes. Cell phone will be completely wiped of any personal information before given to those in need. Don't let your cell phone end up on a landfill, put it to use, collection bins are located in the lobby of each county correctional facility, at the Civil Enforcement Bureau in Yaphank, and at First District Court in Central Islip. More information can be found online at SuffolkSheriff.com. (East Hampton Star)
  4. Lisa Perry, known for her iconic women’s collection, has transformed a Modernist glass-and-steel home in East Hampton into Onna House, a gallery, studio and home for women artists. Onna is the Japanese word for "woman". You will be able to view a solo exhibition by Mitsuko Asakura, a Japanese textile artist over this coming Memorial Day weekend. (Surface Magazine)
