  1. The Zelenskyy cocktail is the Main Prospect's version of a lemon drop Martini made with Ukrainian Heritage Homemade Rye Vodka. The tasty cocktail serves the purpose of, "honors him for his heroism amid the Ukraine-Russia war, helps feed the Ukrainian people, and quenches the thirst of imbibers," said Brian Tupper, bartender at Main Prospect.   2. Saturday in Farmingdale, the U.S. Army and state elected officials presented thirty Vietnam War veterans from Long Island with commemorative medals to honor for their service. They urged people to never forget the sacrifices they made. The veterans were awarded the medals during a ceremony held at and hosted by the American Airpower Museum. (Subscription: Newsday)
  3. Mehdi Damaghi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University is taking a different approach to cancer, and it is catching on. Damaghi is taking the same principles of evolutionary biology, understanding how a cancer can adapt and fight to survive.   4. Diane Juergens, 62, a bus driver from Ridge pleaded guilty to multiple counts of driving while intoxicated after she crashed twice last July while taking Cub Scouts from a Calverton camp and then fled the scene, Suffolk County prosecutors said Friday. (MSN)
