East Hampton Grad's Lacrosse Camp Scores Points with the Kids
Zach Brenneman's camp returns for its second year.

There may be some future lacrosse stars in the making. Sixty-five boys in the 5 to 12 age range learned the fundamentals at a lacrosse camp at East Hampton High School this week.
Zach Brenneman, a two-time All American at the University of Notre Dame who graduated from East Hampton in 2007, is running 28 Lacrosse Camp, now in its second year.
“I’m thrilled with the turnout," Brenneman said by email. “It’s fun to come back and teach a sport that opens so many doors for kids”.

“I’m really happy with the team of coaches at the camp," Brenneman said. “Both my old East Hampton varsity coach Ralph Naglieri, and my junior high coach Rich King are here teaching the kids. Guys like Drew Falkenhan, Drew Smith and Michael Esposito played with me at East Hampton and Sean Rogers and I played together at Notre Dame. I can’t mention all the guys, but it’s a dedicated group and we’re having a great time.”
The camp ends Thursday.

“We’re thankful the high school is allowing us to use the facilities. It’s very convenient for us and the kids love the chance to get on the turf field," he added.
