They were all asked for identification, and police saw a bag between the front passenger seat and the door. The substance in the bag tested positive for marijuana, according to police. There was also a crystalized substance that tested positive for MDMA, police said. All three were charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. The 30-year-old was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. He was released on $100 station house bail. The woman was released on $75 bail, and the other man was released on his own recognizance. All were given appearance tickets for arraignment.
