East Hampton Woman Seriously Injured In Crash: Police

The crash took place early Thursday, police say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — An East Hampton woman was seriously injured in a crash early Thursday, police said.

According to East Hampton town police, the single-car crash took place at 2:12 a.m. on Three Mile Harbor Hog Creek Road near Marina Lane. Judith Santiago-Martinez, 27, was driving a 2024 Toyota 4Runner north on Three Mile Harbor Hog Creek Road when her vehicle crossed the southbound lane, left the roadway and struck a tree, police said.

A nearby resident heard the crash and called police.

Santiago-Martinez was taken to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital with serious injuries, police said.

The Toyota was impounded for safety checks and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call East Hampton Town police at 631-537-7575.
