• Club Swamp, historic Hamptons gay bar, inspires park memorial (newsday.com) — East Hampton Town’s Wainscott Green, on the former Club Swamp site, is set to gain a memorial honoring the area’s LGBTQ history and the beloved gay bar that once stood there. Led by Springs resident Tom House and Hamptons Pride, the project envisions a pink pyramid sculpture, dance-deck gathering space, and engraved bricks to create a new safe, celebratory community hub.
