Exclusive Peter Beard Artwork

On exhibit in East Hampton gallery and at Guild Hall.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — Peter Beard is an artist, photographer, and diarist who has been spending time in the Hamptons since the 70s when he lived at Andy Warhol’s Montauk compound. It is Beard’s love for the East End of Long Island and also Africa that has helped influence his world-famous bodies of work.

Starting in early July, East Hampton’s Gallery Valentine, in collaboration with Talent Resources and JetSmart, will be hosting an exclusive art exhibition dedicated to the controversial works of Peter Beard.

There will be 25 unique pieces of his art on display, which feature subjects such as Pamela Anderson, Hannah Davis, Chanel Iman, Nina Agdal, Helena Christensen and Alexandra Richards.

The works are being shown by artist and women’s rights activist Natalie White.

A private viewing at the gallery will take place on Saturday July 2 between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. and then the full collection will be on exhibit and for purchase at the gallery for a week. After that, selected works will be displayed until August. Prices range from $50,000 to $150,000 with the entire collection worth over a million dollars.

For art lovers additional art by Peter Beard is on display at East Hampton’s Guild Hall museum in two separate galleries until the end of July. The museum is showing this solo exhibit of Beard’s entitled “Last Word From Paradise,” which is the artist’s first US museum solo exhibition in over 15 years.
