How do you know your graduating student nominee?
She works at my restaurant.
Tell us why they deserve to be nominated!
She has an amazing story. Being brought to this country and then abandoned. She is the first in her family to obtain a college degree and now, she got accepted to Pace University and got a scholarship. She is an astonishing and hardworking young woman who deserves to be recognized for it.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?
Hard work and staying the course is worth it. Maria has shown what it’s like to work multiple jobs, take care of her family, and balance a full school workload. She has made sacrifices that young people her age normally don’t need to. I am honored to know her and am inspired by her.
Congratulations on your achievements, and all of our best wishes to you in the future, Maria!
