• Stony Brook Children's Hospital announces program to support student mental health across local school districts (sbstatesman.com) — East Hampton families now have direct access to Stony Brook Children’s new CARE program, which offers rapid psychiatric assessments, short-term counseling, and follow-up support for students in crisis. Launched in September, the hybrid in-person and telehealth service partners with seven Suffolk districts, including East Hampton, and is designed to overcome insurance, language, and access barriers so local kids can get timely mental health care.
   

• ‘Steal This Story, Please!' Takes the 2025 Audience Award at Hamptons Doc Fest (27east.com) — East Hampton Town residents can catch the award-winning documentary “Steal This Story, Please!” discussion and other Hamptons Doc Fest Q&As via the town’s LTV Channel 20, where “Democracy Now!” also airs regularly. The film, spotlighting journalist Amy Goodman and independent media’s role in democracy, just won the 2025 Brown Harris Stevens Audience Award after screenings in Sag Harbor and Southampton.
