Guild Hall Hands Out Free Tickets for Students This Summer

Students 21 and under can wait for a free ticket to certain shows that aren't sold out.

Let's face it, students don't always have cash and when they do they may not use it to catch a show.

That's why Guild Hall is offering "Free Student Rush" theater tickets. In partnership with Saunders & Associates, a Brigehampton real estate firm, the theater is offering one free ticket per student to those 21 and under at curtain time for certain performances and screening at the John Drew Theater that are not sold out.

"The general manager of our theater, Jennifer Brondo, thought having a free student rush would encourage a younger audience to take advantage of many of our performances," Ruth Appelhof, the executive director at Guild Hall, said. "We agreed and immediately put it into action and were thrilled when Saunders so generously stepped up to sponsor this as a means of supporting the theater and the young people in our community."

"Like Guild Hall, Saunders & Associates is thriving in the Hamptons
community and we love that this program will give back by helping students
experience the arts even more," said Gary Nolan, the director of brand and technology fulfillment at Saunders.

Students looking to score these free tickets should wait at the Box Office until curtain time, at which point any remaining tickets will be given free to the students on a first come first served basis. They must show identification. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult, who will have to pay full price for their tickets for themselves.
