Ina Garten’s Back In The Kitchen

EAST HAMPTON, NY — All it took was one Instagram from Ina Garten to set her followers atwitter: the Barefoot Contessa is coming back.

East Hampton’s own Ina Garten, who rose to food fame with her beloved and still missed Newtown Lane store, Barefoot Contessa, posted an image of three bowls of limes, lemons and eggs and kitchen utensils on a counter Monday along with the caption: Organizing the kitchen to film new shows! #fun#cookingforjeffrey

Garten had taken some time off from her show, Barefoot Contessa, to finish writing her newest cookbook, "Cooking For Jeffrey". But now that her book, which includes recipes she’s cooked for her husband, Jeffrey, will be out in October, Garten is back to showing us all exactly how to do it on air.

Barefoot Contessa hasn't filmed a new episode since Season 23 ended. But finally there will be new Ina for TV food junkies to savor. No word yet when the shows will air, but Garten has teased us with a taste of things to come with her Instagram posting — and the world clearly thanks her for that.
