Martha Stewart’s Favorite Summer Planter
She picked out the best of the best at LongHouse Reserve in East Hampton.
EAST HAMPTON, NY – It was the perfect choice. Martha Stewart who loves pointing out a good thing when she sees is, and who is also known for her fabulous gardens, was brought onboard to judge the 25th Jubilee Celebration Planters On + Off the Ground VIII.
The event took place at LongHouse Reserve, 16 acres of lush grounds, exotic tress, plants and art work, located in East Hampton as patch reported earlier.
Stewart, who judged the first-ever Planters Invitational, returned as the judge this year. And she was also on hand for the ribbon presentations and awarded First Place to: A Piece of the Universe, from Summerhill Landscapers in Sag Harbor.

Second Place went to Landcraft Environments Ltd. in Mattituck, with Third Place going to Michael Derrig, Landscape Details in Sag Harbor.
Honorable Mentions were awarded to: Kathleen Marder of Marders in Bridgehampton and to Justin Terzi Design in Sag Harbor.
