NY Secretary of State Comes for a Visit on Thursday
Your guide to what's happening in the community.

Good morning, East Hampton.
— Wednesday was beautiful, and Thursday should be too. It will be a little cooler, highs of 72F. Expect sun and a few passing clouds.
— This morning, New York Secretary of State Cesar A. Perales will join East Hampton Town Supervisor Bill Wilkinson at Town Hall for a tour and status report on the results of the town’s recent restructuring. As you may recall, the town received funding from the New York Department of State’s Local Government Performance and Efficiency Program as part of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo’s agenda to improve efficiency and reduce costs at all levels of government.
— Deborah Klughers offered a recipe for pumpkin honey bread, and it sounds good. Check out her blog, which has lots of information that I bet you didn't know, like September is National Honey Month.
— The photo up with this post is from Otter Pond in Sag Harbor Village. I snapped it on Wednesday evening — the light as just so beautiful there. If you have a photo you'd like me to feature, email me at Taylor.Vecsey@patch.com.
