The following information was supplied by the East Hampton Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.
• Carlos I. Orellana, 43, of Southampton, was arrested on a felony driving while intoxicated charge due to a prior conviction within the past 10 years on March 12 in Wainscott. Police pulled Orellana over after he allegedly drove through the red light on Montauk Highway at the intersection of Wainscott-Northwest Road at about 7:15 p.m. He appeared intoxicated and failed all field sobriety tests, police said. His vehicle was seized due to the previous conviction in the Town of Southampton in 2004. East Hampton Town Justice Catherine A. Cahill released him on $1,500 bail.
