MONDAY

Play the Links at the Maidstone Club to Benefit Guild Hall:Β Hosted at theΒ Maidstone Club in East Hampton, the outing begins at noon with lunch in the Tap Room. The shotgun start tournament begins at 1pm and is followed by cocktails on the Clubhouse veranda overlooking the ocean and a Scotch Tasting Master Class sponsored by Amagansett Wine and Spirits. Dinner and an awards ceremony follow from 6 toΒ 8 p.m.Β Price: $800Β 

Choral Society of the Hamptons Auditions:Β The Choral Society of the HamptonsΒ will hold auditions on September 30, and prospective new members are invited to sit in at the first rehearsal this fall at the Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church at 7:30 p.m.

Town ZBA: The East Hampton Town Zoning Board of Appeals will meet on Town Hall at 6:30 p.m.

The Naked Stage: The John Drew Theater and the Naked Stage present a staged reading of "Where We Are" by Kristen Lowman at Guild Hall at 7:30 p.m. Free.Β

Surfrider Foundation ELI Chapter Meeting:Β A Surfrider meeting will be held at Mercado restaurant in Bridgehampton at 6:30 p.m.

ARB: The East Hampton Town ARB meeting will be held at Town Hall at 7 p.m.

Chuck Close Recent Works: Recent and new paintings, archival watercolor pigment prints on HahnemΓΌhle rag paper, and jacquard tapestries of artists and friends including Cindy Sherman, Roy Lichtenstein, Lou Reed, Kara Walker, and others at Guild Hall. Price:Β $7 Suggested Admission. Museum Hours: Fri & Sat 11 a.m. toΒ 5 p.m.; Sunday noon toΒ 5 p.m.

Latino Party: The East Hampton Democratic candidates will hold a meet and greet for Latino voters at D'Canela in Amagansett at 5 p.m.Β Voter registration will be available.Β 

SATURDAY

Guild Hall Joins Smithsonian magazine's Museum Day Live!:Β The Museum at Guild Hall will open its doors free of charge as part of Smithsonian magazine’s ninth annual Museum Day Live! Experience our current exhibitions featuring the recent works of Chuck Close and sculpture by Joel Perlman. A nationwide event, Museum Day Live! offers free admission to visitors presenting a Museum Day Live! ticket at a participating museum or cultural institution. The Museum Day Live! ticket is available to download at Smithsonian.com/museumday. Visitors who present the Museum Day Live! ticket will gain free entrance for two at participating venues for one day only.Β 

East End SEPTO Family Fun Fair:Β This is a fun family day at the Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce. Enjoy a petting zoo, bounce house, obstacle course, games, face painting, prizes, dunk tank, great food, music, chinese auction at 11 a.m.Β 

Migration Challenge:Β It's migration season in Montauk.Β  Explore the hazards and helpers that migratory animals encounter on their journey.Β  Roll the dice and move to the appropriate migration station.Β  Follow the directions on the card and move through your migration.Β  How many will survive the challenges of the journey?Β Meet at Hither Hills Visitors Center at 11 a.m. Reservations required.Β Price:Β $4-adult,Β  $3-children ages 3-17, Under 3 FREE

Author Talk:Β Art Donovan, "The Art of Steampunk," will speak at East Hampton Library at 1 p.m.

Amsterdam State Park Hike and Seek:Β This is a 2hr hike through Amsterdam State Park.Β  While hiking, "seek" out items from a list including plants, animals, and other objects.Β  Wear appropriate clothing for the weather and comfortable shoes for hiking. Β Meet at the parking lot of Amsterdam State Park located across the highway from Deep Hollow Ranch at 1 p.m.

Library Card Sign-up Celebration Family Time:Β JoinΒ the Montauk LibraryΒ for games and family fun at 2:30 p.m.

Dig Those Dogs Story & Craft Time:Β We'll dig into dog stories then make a dog-puppet craft at 3:30 p.m.

Donna Corvi and Ben D'Innocenzo Exhibit Closing Reception:Β 
The Montauk Artists Association presents paintings by Donna Corvi and Ben D'Innocenzo and a closing reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m.

Meet Fred Overton:Β The Hideaway in MontaukΒ is hosting a meet and greet withΒ Fred Overton, who is running for the East Hampton Town Board on the Republican ticket. Donations are welcome.Β
