Shark Bar Montauk Set To Mark 50th Anniversary Of 'Jaws' With All-Day Screenings
The event will feature an appearance by Molly Scheider, whose father Roy Scheider played Police Chief Martin Brody and left East End legacy.

MONTAUK, NY — Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water — Shark Bar Montauk is set to celebrate the 50th anniversary of "Jaws" with an all-day screening on Sunday, August 24.
Shark Bar Montauk is located at 2167 Montauk Highway.
Molly Scheider, the daughter of the late American actor Roy Scheider — who played the iconic Police Chief Martin Brody in the blockbuster film — will be on site to introduce the film, perform live with her band, and meet fans for photos and merchandise signings.

Guests can sip on a themed signature cocktail — paired with complimentary shark-inspired merch from Amante — and indulge in a special shark-inspired dish. A portion of proceeds from both will benefit the Hayground School, honoring Roy Scheider’s legacy as a founding member and his lasting impact on the East End, organizers said.
"It’s only fitting that Shark Bar, with its breezy coastal vibe, nautical accents, and cheeky shark-themed design elements, is the backdrop for this cinematic celebration. From the open-air bar that feels just steps from the water to the playful décor that nods to the ocean’s most famous predator, the space captures the spirit of JAWS in every detail," organizers said.
