Star Student Athlete: East Hampton Bonacker 'Always Gives His All'

EAST HAMPTON, NY — We all know student athletes who also bring their A-game to other parts of their lives.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. We’re working to let all your neighbors know the individual stories behind the leaderboard.

Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?

Finn is an all around great kid. He is an excellent student, liked by peers and teachers, as well as his community. Finn has played hard in sports and always giving his all. Ever since he was a young boy, he has loved to play sports. He encourages his friends to be the best that they can be as well. He volunteers to help the younger kids in flag football and in the summer he is a lifeguard at East Hampton's Main Beach.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?

Above all, Finn is a team player, who is humble, kind and extremely funny.
