With School Budgets Passed, How Are You Feeling?
Whether you were disappointed by the turnout or surprised by the elections, leave a comment below.

The school budgets from Montauk to Wainscott easily passed on Tuesday night, unlike to our west where voters shot down the East Quogue School District's proposal to pierce the cap.Â
It was a quiet night at the polls in the Town of East Hampton. Not that there weren't tough decisions made.
Alison Anderson, the only incumbent to run for one of three spots on the East Hampton board of education, was ousted, coming in fifth among six candidates. Wendy Geehreng, JP Foster, and Rich Wilson were elected, and Nicholas J. Boland gave a strong showing, coming in fourth.Â
In Springs, Jeff Miller and Adam Wilson were elected to replace Kathee Burke Gonzalez and Theresa Schurr, who did not seek re-election (Burke Gonzalez is running for East Hampton Town Board on the Democratic ticket).Â
Out in Montauk, Lee White will join the board of education. He beat out Henora Herlihy.Â
Were you surprised by these outcomes?
In East Hampton, there were approximately 680 votes cast, and in Springs there were about 500. In Montauk, the turnout was average. Were you disappointed by the turnout?Â
