2 Wanted In South Carolina Attempted Murder Case Arrested In Nassau: Cops
The two were charged with being fugitives from justice after they were found at a Nassau County home, police say.
EAST MEADOW, NY — Two South Carolina residents wanted in connection with an attempted murder that happened in their home state were arrested in East Meadow, Nassau police said Thursday.
David Mills, 40, and Brittney Dawn Hunter, 32, both of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, face charges in connection with an attempted slaying in Horry County, South Carolina, police said.
The Nassau County Fugitive Squad, with the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, responded to an East Meadow residence on Lenox Avenue seeking two people with arrest warrants for attempted murder and aggravated assault out of South Carolina, police said. Mills and Hunter were arrested without incident, police said.

Mills and Hunter were each charged with being fugitives from justice and are set to be arraigned at First District Court, at 99 Main St., Hempstead, on Friday. They will then be processed for extradition back to Horry County, South Carolina.
