71-Year-Old Woman Caught Shoplifting From East Meadow Store: Police

EAST MEADOW, NY — The Nassau County Police Department reported the following incidents in East Meadow for the week ending Jan. 19.

  • A 71-year-old Levittown woman was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart on Hempstead Turnpike on Jan. 12.
  • A 21-year-old man from Bethpage and a 20-year-old woman from New Cassel were both arrested for shoplifting from Walmart on Hempstead Turnpike on Jan. 13.
  • A 23-year-old man from Hialeah, Florida was arrested for criminal mischief as the Nassau County Jail on Carman Avenue on Dec. 22.
