East Meadow Kiwanis Meeting
: East Meadow Kiwanis will meet Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 7:15 p.m. in the Empress Diner. New members always welcome. For more information, contact club president Jim Smith at 849-3466.

East Meadow Chamber Meeting: The East Meadow Chamber of Commerce will hold its regular monthly meeting at East Meadow Fire Department Station #4 on Carman Avenue Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 6:30 p.m. There will be a presentation by the Nassau County Clerk's Office on the Veterans Discount Program. RSVP to Anthony at 794-3727.

Balloon Jam: Tricky Business, located at 2590 Hempstead Turnpike, will hold a balloon jam Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 7 p.m. Enthusiasts can share tips, techniques and ideas for balloon sculptures. B.Y.O.B. (Bring Your Own Balloons). Call 520-4004 for more info.

Shoppers Night at Temple Emanu-El: Temple Emanu-El of East Meadow is sponsoring Shoppers Night Wednesday, Nov. 6 at the temple between 6:30 and 10 p.m. For more information click here.
