East Meadow Home's 2nd Floor 'Engulfed With Flames'; Firefighters Respond

All occupants made it out of the home when the fire started, police say.

EAST MEADOW, NY — An East Meadow home caught fire on Friday morning, Nassau police said.

Officers responded to a Cooper Drive residence around 10:50 a.m. The second floor of the home was "engulfed with flames," police said. The East Meadow Fire department responded to extinguish the fire.

All occupants were out of the home, police said. No injuries were reported, and the investigation is ongoing.
