Lady Rams’ Field Hockey Goes Undefeated In Its Conference
The team is now looking to bring home the county title.

EAST MEADOW, NY — W.T. Clarke High School’s Lady Rams field hockey team is having a great season. They finished undefeated in Nassau Conference II and are ranked in Newsday’s top 10 teams on Long Island.
Led by coach Brittany Dougher, she said her team is filled with several strong players this year. Sophomore Sophia Papacostas led the county in goals scored with 15. Dougher described senior Catherine Amini, a center midfielder, as the team’s quarterback on the field as she has helped to facilitate plays.
Dougher also recognized the team’s defensive unit that includes Nicole Servider, Angelina Ferrara, Sophia Ruperto, Lauren Henning and Britney Roller.
