Man Tried To Rob Woman Outside Nassau Hospital: Police
Police say he grabbed her and demanded money, but ran when she called for help.
EAST MEADOW, NY — A Queens man was arrested late Wednesday after police said he tried to rob an employee outside of Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow.
A 26-year-old woman who worked at the hospital was returning to work at 11:25 p.m. when police said she was approached by a man on the east side of the building. The man — Jordoni Dalrymple, 35, of Laurelton, Queens — approached her and asked for money, police said, and the woman told him she didn't have any.
Dalrymple then began to aggressively approach the woman, police said, who kept walking. He grabbed her by the shoulders, pressed her up against a fence and demanded money, police said.
