Man Violates Trespass Ban, Steals Items From Walmart In Nassau: Police

Michael Woodsby was prohibited entering all Walmart locations, authorities said.

EAST MEADOW, NY — A man was arrested for a burglary at Walmart in East Meadow, police said.

Michael Woodsby, 45, had selected and concealed several cans of electronic duster on Wednesday morning, before exiting the store without paying, police said.

Police were able to locate and arrest Woodsby without incident, police said. No injuries were reported.

After a thorough investigation, officers determined that he violated a trespass ban which prohibits him from entering all locations, authorities said.

Woodsby is charged with third-degree burglary, unlawfully possessing noxious matter and inhalation of hazardous vapors, police said.

He is scheduled for arraignment on Thursday.
