Multiple East Meadow Shoplifters Arrested: Nassau Police

EAST MEADOW, NY — The Nassau County Police Department reported the following incidents in East Meadow for the week ending Dec. 22.

• An 18-year-old East Meadow man was arrested on Dec. 18 and charged with shoplifting from Walmart on Hempstead Turnpike.
• A 26-year-old Levittown woman was arrested on Dec. 18 and charged with shoplifting from Walmart on Hempstead Turnpike.
• A 38-year-old man from Astoria was arrested on Dec. 20 and charged with shoplifting from Walmart on Hempstead Turnpike.
• A chain-link fence and padlock were damaged at the post office on East Meadow Avenue on Dec. 17.
• A 36-year-old man from Hempstead was arrested on Dec. 15 on Front Street and was charged with DWI.
