EAST MEADOW, NY — The Nassau County Police Department reported the following incidents in East Meadow for the week ending Dec. 29.

  • The rear license plate was stolen from a car parked at Stop & Shop on Hempstead Turnpike on Dec. 23.
  • A 42-year-old man from Brooklyn was arrested on Dec. 23 and charged with shoplifting from Walmart on Hempstead Turnpike.
  • A woman stole merchandise from Walmart on Hempstead Turnpike on Dec. 27.
  • A 35-year-old man from Hicksville was arrested on Hempstead Turnpike on Dec. 23 and charged with DWI.
  • A 39-year-old man from Oceanside was arrested at Wendy's on Hempstead Turnpike on Dec. 29 and charged with DWI.
