Multiple Shoplifters Arrested At East Meadow Walmart: Police

EAST MEADOW, NY — The Nassau County Police Department reported the following incidents in East Meadow for the week ending Jan. 12.

  • A catalytic converter was stolen from a car parked on Rowehl Drive on Jan. 4.
  • A 32-year-old man from Massapequa was arrested on Jan. 11 and charged with shoplifting from Walmart on Hempstead Turnpike.
  • A 25-year-old man from Glen Cove was arrested on Jan. 11 and charged with shoplifting from Walmart on Hempstead Turnpike.
  • A 58-year-old man from Uniondale was arrested on Jan. 5 and charged with shoplifting from Walmart on Hempstead Turnpike.
  • A 26-year-old man from Glen Cove was arrested on Jan. 11 and charged with shoplifting from Walmart on Hempstead Turnpike.
  • A man damaged the parking lot gate at Nassau University Medical Center on Jan. 9.
  • Someone damaged the holiday lights at the Knolls Condominiums on Salisbury Park Drive on Jan. 7.
