UNIONDALE, NY — Next month, the Nassau County Department of Public Works will be holding a virtual public meeting to get input on the Nassau Hub Transit Initiative.

The initiative seeks to connect the Nassau Hub, which includes Nassau Coliseum, to other major destinations and the Long Island Rail Road via bus rapid transit (BRT).

The meeting is being held to get public input on connecting the hub to a LIRR main station via BRT. Presenters will go over the work completed to date, proposals to connect the hub to the LIRR main line, as well as take input from the public.
