Nassau Teen Attacked, Threatened Nail Salon Workers: Police
Police say the teen also tried to resist arrest when officers found her.
UNIONDALE, NY — A teen was arrested Saturday evening for attacking two workers of a nail salon and threatening them with a knife, Nassau County police said.
The 15-year-old girl went to S&D Nail Salon, located at 581 Uniondale Ave. in Uniondale, for a manicure on Saturday afternoon. The girl got into an argument with employees, police said, and left the store without paying.
The manager and an employee followed the girl, and there was an altercation, police said. The girl pushed both of them to the ground, causing them minor cuts, and then threatened them with a knife before fleeing, police said.
