Owner Of 3 Nassau Restaurants Launches YouTube Series

EAST MEADOW, NY — Trahanas Hospitality, owner/operator of The Union restaurant at Eisenhower Park, has launched a new YouTube series.

"The Park" offers viewers an intimate glimpse into the inner workings of its three venues on Long Island.

In the inaugural episode, Executive Chef Tom Gloster showcases his culinary expertise. The 2015 winner of the Food Network's "Chopped," has overseen kitchens at Rustic Root in Woodbury and Rothmann's Steakhouse in East Norwich.

"I’m not one of those chefs who walks around with a fancy apron," Gloster said in the first episode. "Everything in this building is a direct representation of what we do as a group. And I will never let the standards of our group fall."

Trahanas also owns and operates The Lannin and The General at Eisenhower Park.

These venues collectively underwent a more than $7 million renovation in 2023, including full interior updates, a new kitchen, a roof deck overlooking the Eisenhower Golf Course, and a newly renovated dining patio.

"The Park" series aims to honor the tradition of Eisenhower Park by offering a modern American dining experience that reflects a melting pot of ingredients and diversity.
