Adventureland Of LI Opening This Weekend For 2025 Season With New Attractions
Adventureland has two new outdoor games: "Wave Blaster" and "Jungle Run." A new family ride, "Wave Twister," is scheduled to open in spring.

FARMINGDALE, NY — Adventureland is set to kick off its 2025 season on Saturday and Sunday, as the amusement park gears up for its expansion, the venue announced.
The amusement park, which opened in 1962, announced a price freeze — the park is offering more value through its expansion in 2025 for 2024 ticket prices in the form of its admission, group, season pass, and birthday party rates.
"At a time when everything around us is going up, we are proud and excited to be able to provide our guests this price freeze on admission," said Jeanine Gentile, Adventureland park manager, in a news release. "We are still making additions to the park, so you will definitely see some great changes for this upcoming season. But one thing that will not be changing is the admission prices for the 2025 season!"

Last year, Adventureland announced plans for a multi-year, five-phase $15 million redevelopment.
Now currently in the second phase, the amusement park promised a "bigger and better" 2025 season, which includes two new outdoor games: "Wave Blaster" and "Jungle Run."
Additionally, plans are in place to install three new concession stands and a third restroom facility.
A new family ride, "Wave Twister," is scheduled to open later this spring.
Adventureland previously estimated that by the end of the fifth phase, there will be a 10 percent growth in employment to support the new "Legacy Corner" section, which is expected to be completed in 2028.
The "Legacy Corner" will be on the front southeast side of the park about a little over an acre in size. In addition to at least four new rides, brand-new concession stands, restrooms, and other amenities will be constructed.
Catholic Health is sponsoring the main entrance and the City Hall Building, which has now been renamed the Catholic Health Wellness Center. This area is home to "Guest Relations," "First Aid," and the "Lost and Found."
A blue line will be added throughout the park to direct guests from anywhere in the park to the Catholic Health Wellness Center.
