Music On Main Kicks Off In Farmingdale

FARMINGDALE, NY — Music on Main is set to kick off a series of four summer slots on Thursday in Farmingdale.

The Main Street-wide block party is scheduled for July 10, July 24, Aug. 7 and Aug. 21. Each session is slated to run 5 to 9 p.m. A rain date is penned in for Aug. 28.

There will be live music, DJs, dining outside at restaurants, shopping, games, dancing, vendors and information booths, and more.

The two block area of Main Street in downtown Farmingdale Village will be closed to vehicle traffic from approximately 3 to 10 p.m. between South Front and Prospect streets. Parking will be available in village lots, the Howitt Middle School lot and LIRR parking lots after 4 p.m., and along streets where permitted.
