Holiday Pancake Breakfast With Santa Coming To LI's American Airpower Museum
Admission covers breakfast, photo opportunities with Santa, a tram ride, and more.

FARMINGDALE, NY — The American Airpower Museum is set to host its annual Holiday Pancake Breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon on Dec. 14, it announced.
People can mix and mingle with Santa Claus at a community event for the entire family. Hangar
3 will be decked out with Christmas decorations, and there will be photo opportunities with Santa, so people should bring their cameras and smart phones.
Hot pancakes with butter, maple syrup, sausages and beverages will be served. Breakfast is $15 for adults and $10 for children. The fee includes admission and a tram ride for families around the Hangar’s ramp, weather permitting.

There are three seatings: 9, 10 and 11 a.m. Reservations will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. To reserve seats — no refunds for cancellations — people may call 631-293-6398, Wednesday through Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., or visit the American Airpower Museum website.
People can also visit the museum, at Hangar 3, 1230 New Highway, Farmingdale, during normal working hours.

"Join our breakfast fundraiser and support the Museum’s mission to preserve U.S. military aviation history and honor Veterans!" the museum wrote. "After breakfast, your family can discover the history of military aviation and explore dozens of exhibits, including America’s most famous WWII military aircraft, North American B-25 Mitchell Bomber and P-51D Mustang, Curtiss P-40M Warhawk (Flying Tiger), Grumman TBM Avenger Torpedo Bomber and Douglas C-47B Skytrain, plus Cold War era jets by Republic Aviation like the F-105 Thunderchief and A-10 Thunderbolt also known as the 'Warthog.'"
