Where To See Santa In Farmingdale This Christmas Season

FARMINGDALE, NY — Visits and pictures with Santa are treasured traditions for many Farmingdale families. For them, there’s nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.

In Farmingdale, kids have several chances:

• What: Pizza with Santa at Vico
• When: Noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3
• Where: Vico, at 313 Main St., Farmingdale
• Info: Head to Vico, an authentic Italian restaurant, to take free photos with Santa Claus. Enjoy a complimentary slice of pizza. Reservations required for lunch but not for meeting Santa.
• What: Santa x Farmingdale Village Fire Department
  • When: 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 and Sunday, Dec. 10
  • Where: Farmingdale Village
  • Info: The Farmingdale Village Fire Department will be bringing Santa Claus around on its firetruck.
• What: Santa x South Farmingdale Fire Department
• When: 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9.

• What: Santa Is Going to Back In Time
• When: 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 and Sunday, Dec. 10
• Where: Back in Time, at 441 Main St., Farmingdale
• Info: Grab a treat from Santa Claus and do some holiday shopping. A small gift for every child and photo opportunities.
• What: Breakfast with Santa and Wow the Cow
  • When: 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9
  • Where: Stew Leonard's, at 261 Airport Plaza Blvd., Farmingdale
  • Info: Families are invited to have breakfast with Santa and Wow the Cow! A buffet-style breakfast of scrambled eggs, French toast, bacon, sausage, and homestyle potatoes, will be served accompanied by coffee and milk! Each child will be given a craft to complete. Tickets can be purchased here.
• What: Pancake Breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus
  • Where: The American Airpower Museum, at Hangar 3, 1230 New Highway, Farmingdale.
  • When: 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 17.
  • Info: The museum will be decked out in Christmas decorations, and there will be photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Also, enjoy hot pancakes with butter, maple syrup, sausages and beverages.

Santa will be at Macy’s stores in New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Orlando.
