1990 Murder Conviction Overturned + Air Quality Alert

A man convicted of murdering a Hofstra football coach in 1990 was freed this week after his conviction was overturned by a Nassau County judge. An Olympic silver medalist toured his old Long Island neighborhood. And a heat wave leads to an air advisory across the area.

Christopher Ellis' sentence was overturned last month and on Monday a Nassau County judge declared him unjustly convicted and set him free after three decades. (New York Times)
