Hewlett Wrestling Update

At the MAWA Toms River Qualifier, Hewlett H.S. had three wrestlers qualify for the southern regional tournament to be held in Maryland.

At 110 lbs, Simon Greebel won two matches and captured third place to qualify for the regional tournament. In Simon's third place match he dominated his opponent 8-0.  

At 115 lbs, Aaron Weinberg won two matches and captured first place to qualify for the regional tournament. In Aaron's final match he won by a score of 4-3.  

At 130lbs, Rob Rosenberg won two matches and captured third place to qualify for the regional tournament. In Rob's third place match he dominated his opponent 13-1.  

All three wrestlers will be going to the regional tournament April 9. The top 4 finishers of this competition qualify for MAWA nationals in May.
