Kiwanis Honor Fourth Precinct Police Officer

Town of Hempstead Senior Councilman Anthony J. Santino and Nassau County Legislator Howard J. Kopel joined with Peninsula Kiwanis to honor Nassau County Police Department Fourth Precinct Officer Edward Scherer, recipient of the Louis Costa Humanitarian Award.

The event took place on Feb. 16 during the Peninsula Kiwanis Humanitarian Award Dinner at Mezza on the Green at Lawrence Village Country Club.
