CEDARHURST, NY — Drivers should be alerted to a car accident on West Broadway in Cedarhurst. As of late Monday morning, Nassau police said the road is closed both ways between West Leroy Avenue and Adelberg Lane.

The accident involved a collision with a pole. Wires were hanging. Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
