Expect Emotional Night, Islanders First Home Game Since Bossy's Death

ELMONT, NY — The Islanders will have their first home game on Tuesday night since the death of franchise legend Mike Bossy.
The Islanders Hall of Famer died Friday from lung cancer. He was 65.
There are expected to be plenty of emotions as they pay tribute to the goalscorer, who led the Isles to four straight Stanley Cups in the 1980s.

No word on how the team will honor Bossy prior to facing the Panthers, but in January the Islanders said farewell to another great-- Clark Gillies-- with a video montage during the pre-game ceremony.
