Five Towns Craigslist Finds: Jan. 24

Furniture

• A Lisa Cherry Mirror by Coaster Furniture is available in Hewlett for $70. The seller says the piece “will make a beautiful statement in your home.” The uniquely shaped mirror can go with any dresser, according to the seller.
• Originally bought for over $1,500, this 72-inch HON executive desk with custom glass top and two matching guest chairs could be yours for $349 from this Cedarhurst seller.
• A set of three black lacquer demi cocktail height tables with glass inserts and gold trim are available in Atlantic Beach for $75. Two of the tables have small leaf design on their edges. The seller says the pieces are very functional and can be separated or used in line.
• A Weber baby grand piano that is more than a decade old is now available for $1,399. The seller said it was bought used around 15 years ago for way more than the asking price. There are some nicks and scratches on the piano. It must be picked up from North Woodmere.

Home Goods, etc.

• Looking to work out those abs? This Ab Circle Pro that was used once is available for $48. It comes with knee inserts, a DVD and brochure. The seller says it cost $199 new. Pick it up in Atlantic Beach.
• An interesting piece of nostalgia is available in Lawrence  — a working black and white portable Quasar TV and AM-FM radio circa 1986. It comes with its original manual and AC adapter. This clamshell TV can be yours for $100 or best offer.
• A red Handlan, St. Louis, kerosene lantern with red glass is available for $100 in Lawrence. The piece is inscribed with “CONSOLIDATED EDISON SYSTEM.”
• As the seller says, “Just in time for Valentine's Day,” an Irish porcelain basket-weave heart-shaped trinket box can be yours for $40. The piece was designed by Sybil Connolly for Tiffany & Co.

• A 2001 Chevrolet Venture with 143,000 miles is up for sale for $1,800. The car is equipped with a 180 horsepower 3.4-liter gas-powered V6 engine “that runs like a charm,” the seller says.
• Perhaps you’d like something smaller? This fully loaded 1999 Acura CL 3.0 with 147,000 miles is said to be in excellent condition. It’s available for $2,450 in North Woodmere.
• Need to haul something big? Then perhaps you should consider this 1991 GMC Sierra C 2500. The king cab diesel 6.2 has 190,000 miles on it. The asking price is $2,900.
• Finally, a 2001 Volkswagen Cabrio is available for $3,500 from an Inwood seller. The vehicle has only 132,000 miles on it, and “runs good and economical.”
