Fourth Precinct Report, Sept. 27-Oct. 4

Police report an arrest and incidents of theft.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrest

  • Ellen Regan, 39, of Far Rockaway, was arrested on Oct. 3 and charged with shoplifting a dress at the on Rockaway Boulevard in North Lawrence.

Theft

  • A fishing net, rods and reel were taken from a boat that was docked at the Inwood Marina, a complainant reported to police on Sept. 25
  • A bicycle that was on Hungry Harbor Road in North Woodmere is missing, a complainant reported to police on Sept. 28.
  • Boxing headgear, gloves and hand wraps, valued at about $555, were removed from a vehicle that was parked on Church Street in Inwood, a complainant reported to police on Sept. 29.
  • An unknown person(s) removed wheel caps from a vehicle that was parked on Park Avenue in Cedarhurst, a complainant reported to police on Sept. 29.
  • A resident of Avalon Road in Hewlett reported to police on Sept. 29 that they were the victim of identity theft when a fraudulent credit card was opened in their name.
  • A resident of Muriel Avenue in Lawrence reported to police on Oct. 1 that two packages were taken from the front of her residence.
  • New York State license plates were removed from a vehicle that was parked on Bayview Avenue in Inwood, a complainant reported to police on Oct. 2.
