Happy Wednesday, Five Towns! Here's everything you need to know going on locally today.

Five Towns residents and local politicians expressed their thoughts about Governor Cuomo's big announcement yesterday. A heat wave is coming to Long Island and Nassau County will set up cooling centers. A local film festival will take place this week. And County Executive Curran vetoed the controversial police-protester bill.
