Islanders Rework Their COVID-19 Decimated Schedule

The team still has to reschedule eight games from December and January.

ELMONT, NY — The New York Islanders are working on plugging up the extensive holes in their schedule due to massive postponements from COVID-19 protocols.

The team added their Jan. 18 game with Columbus to the postponed list. No make-up date was given.

The Islanders do have plans on Jan. 18, as they are scheduled to face-off against Philadelphia, originally planned for Nov. 30.

The Isles and Maple Leafs will swap venues for their games. The Jan. 22 game moves to the UBS Arena, while Toronto hosts on April 17.

The Islanders still have to announce make-up dates for games with Montreal, Washington, Buffalo and Detroit in December, along with Seattle, Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary in January.
