Kmart Evacuated Due to Bomb Threat

The Kmart store on Rockaway Turnpike was evacuated on Tuesday after a bomb threat was received, police confirmed.

All employees and customers were vacated from the store, located at 253-01 Rockaway Turnpike, around 5:35 p.m.

Nassau County Police responded with K-9 and Arson/Bomb units and after a search, the building was deemed safe.
