INWOOD, NY — An Island Park man was arrested following a disturbance at an Inwood store, police said.

Cristhian Reyes entered the Smoke Bazzar Smoke Shop on Burnside Avenue on Thursday evening, police said.

Reyes, 23, got into a verbal argument with two other male employees, ages 19 and 23, police said. As the argument escalated, Reyes displayed a knife, authorities.

Reyes then intentionally broke two of the store's surveillance cameras, police said.

He was placed into custody without incident. Reyes is charged with third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

He was scheduled to be arraigned on Friday.
