Update: Missing 55-Year-old Man Found

11/27/11 Update: Dennis Buckram has been located, according to police.

A 55-year-old man with diminished mental capacity who was on a field trip to Woodmere Academy is now missing, police said.

A Silver Alert, which is issued when a senior citizen or other individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other cognitive disorders goes missing, was sent out at 4:47 p.m. for Dennis Buckram.

The subject, whose town is unknown, is described as a five-foot-ten-inch 178-pound black man with short-cropped afro-style hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a dark shirt, blue jeans and a baseball cap.
