Man Mugged While Walking Home in Inwood
Suspects attacked him and knocked him unconscious.

A 23-year-old man walking home on Mott Avenue was approached by two men, punched twice in the face and was knocked unconscious, according to police. His wallet and cell phone were stolen.
On Sunday around 1 a.m., the victim was walking between Lawrence Avenue and Clinton Avenue in Inwood when the two unknown subjects approached him from behind. They then attacked him, causing him to fall to the ground and lose consciousness.
When he awoke, the victim found he was bleeding from his mouth and that his wallet containing $25 and his Blackberry were taken.

The 23-year-old sought treatment for a fracture to his jaw at the hospital later in the day. He then reported the robbery at the , but was unable to furnish a description of the assailants.
