N. Woodmere Gas Station Robbed at Gunpoint

Suspect allegedly ran off on foot with stolen cash.

A gas station on the North Woodmere/Queens border was robbed at gunpoint late Friday night, Nassau Police reported.

According to Fourth Squad detectives, a male black suspect entered the Shell Gas Station located at 928 Rosedale Road and displayed a handgun. He then allegedly demanded the 54-year-old male employee to remove the cash from the register.

He ordered the victim, along with a second male victim, 72, into the rear of the store. The subject placed an undetermined amount of cash in a black plastic bag and fled on foot through the front door to Rosedale Road.

The suspect is described as being approximately 20-25 years old, 5’8” tall, thin build, wearing a black hooded jacket, dark pants, a black glove on his right hand and a mask.
